Overview

FocusFox is a productivity extension designed for students using Moodle and SLIIT CourseWeb platforms. Our mission is to help you focus on your studies by optimizing layouts, highlighting key dates, and blocking distractions locally on your device.

Data Collection

FocusFox does NOT collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data, browsing history, or credentials. Your data is entirely yours.

Storage

All configuration options, customized filters, urgency preferences, and extension settings are stored locally on your own device using Chrome's local storage API. No external servers are used to store your preferences.

Required Permissions

storage Save and sync your user preferences locally.
activeTab Apply productivity features exclusively on the user-activated active browser tab.
scripting Modify the Moodle and SLIIT CourseWeb page layouts to inject Dark Mode and focus tools.
host permissions Limited strictly to Moodle & SLIIT CourseWeb instances. We do not run on other websites.
